MXF4QT Import 1.2 and MXF4QT Export 1.0 available

July 19, 2008

The 1.2 release of our pro importer solves the audio rendering in Final Cut Pro with D10/IMX files. We also have now the first export version available for PAL users.

It’s an exciting update for all D10/IMX users as we could fix the audio rendering issue in Final Cut Pro. Finally all D10/IMX media is supported natively in Final Cut Pro without the need to render audio anymore.

updatefcpmedia.pngWe also provide now a FxPlug plug-in for Final Cut Pro to update streaming MXF media with just one single mouse click. UpdateFCPMedia will launch automatically with Final Cut Pro and provides a new user interface element to fast re-scan and update media files. There is zero latency and no buffering or chunking of the recorded, ingested or transferred MXF media - you get what is there in the moment you click on the icon.

New features of MXF4QT Import version 1.2:

• AES3 audio rendering solved in Final Cut Pro (MXF4QT SD+HD Pro Import only. Not available in demo version)
• Support for duration set to 0 (e.g. EVS OP1a D10 edit while record files)
• Enhanced D10/IMX NTSC audio support
• UpdateFCPMedia FxPlug plug-in for Final Cut Pro (not available in demo version)

We now also have the first export version of MXF4QT available. We extracted the exporter from the importer so our import and export components are now completely independent from each other and available as separate products.

Features of MXF4QT Export version 1.0:

• MXF OP1a D10 export in QuickTime and compatible applications
• SD PAL
• IMX 30, 40 and 50
• AES3 audio 48 kHz, 16 bit (8 channels per track)
